There is an old myth around the harbour that when a trash barge floats into the middle of the ocean on the night of a full moon that the trash starts to come alive! Join the crew at Curious Legends in imagining and breathing life into your very own puppet made from ocean debris. Avoid savage seagulls and ferocious sharks on this trash puppet journey to survive in the big wide ocean.

Our crew will assist your young person in creating a one-of-a-kind puppet using recycled trash eg. Plastic cups, bottles, cardboard and more. Through object theatre, soundscape, and imaginative play, we’ll infuse life into their puppet and accompany it on an epic voyage across the ocean depths.

Workshop duration and participant numbers varies per event and location. Ocean Trash can be offered as a 60 minute workshop for smaller groups, or a rolling workshop offered over a number of hours, recommended for ages 5+ and their adults. Get in touch for further details.
