October 25th + 26th: Costume Making Workshops, Wallsend
Join us in any or all of our Workshops this year, where we will be creating Halloween costumes and crafting accessories:

Join us and AMS Art Studio in a Skeleton-shirt / Bleach Dye T-shirt Workshop Oct 25th. Open to teens, kids age 7+ and adults – – this workshop will have you imagine and bring to life your own design.

Costume / Accessory Making at Wallsend Library Oct 25+26- This one is for kids ages 5-11. – Join us to create masks, head pieces, costume pieces and props to your hearts content!

October 31: Wallsend Frights –  A Hallow Evening, Wallsend Park

Yes, we’ll also bring some spooky fun to Victoria – expect a cheeky ibis chick and somme fun shadow puppetry!

November 1: Whale Song at Sunset, Songs & Stories at Headland Park – Festival of Mosman
Our whales are migrating to Mosman! 

November 9: Creating Magical Characters – Mask Workshop ft. Ross Brown
Are you interested in performing arts? An artist looking to expand their craft? Or looking to try something new? Join us at the Curious Legends studio for an amazing professional development workshop with Ross Brown, a.k.a The Maskman – a legendary Newcastle based maker of theatre, masks and puppets. November 15: Murrook Cultural Festival, Worimi Sand Dunes, Williamtown
Come down to this special event in the dunes celebrating the 40th anniversary of  Worimi Aboriginal Land Council – there will be dancers, food, cultural activities and we’re bringing shadow puppetry and roving entertainment! Keen to join our team of puppeteers on our largest inflatable whale puppet? November 29: Rising Tide Flotilla, Horseshoe Beach + Camp Shortland, Muloobinba/Newcastle
Our team returns to this year’s Rising Tide event with Bernie, our 9 metre long inflatable humpback whale! Come down for beach festivities, harbour flotillas and an incredible line up of acts at the site of Australia’s biggest contribution to the climate crisis. November 30: Festival of Balmain, Darling Street, Balmain
Come down to this street festival and see our aerial puppets from 1 – 3 PM!

December 31: New Years Eve Celebration, Muswellbrook
We’ll be roving with a mix of our puppets at Council’s NYE celebration at the Showgrounds!
