Once Upon A Cloud is a magical water story created especially for children. Two actors present the comic adventures of Tillum and Dinky as they plead with Gods, battle with caterpillars, and come face to face with the unstoppable creature Lulu. A fun, entertaining show that combines theatrical magic with environmental content, the story is woven around the issue of water. In a playful and touching way Tillum and Dinky, two mischievous raindrops who live on a cumulus cloud, learn just how far a little care and attention can go. Shimmering silk costumes, hand crafted masks, music, audience interaction and a dash of mayhem help the story to unfold. Once Upon A Cloud is extrememly versatile, with its portability and minimal requirements making it suitable for most spaces. Aimed at primary school-aged audiences, this 45 minute show is full of laughter and interaction. Using broad brush strokes two actors utilise a sparse set and minimal props to engage children's imaginations, bringing characters from their own backyard (and beyond) to life. While the production will engage your children from beginning to end, the characters will stay with them far beyond.
