Do you have a secret home? A place to be yourself when no-one else is watching? Sometimes, this can be as simple as a cardboard box... Snotnose's brother's are mean to him. But with a horde of books in his secret home, Snotnose travel's far away. Until one day when his secret home is discovered, and Snotnose must make a long journey to get it back. Written specifically for 5 to 12 year olds, storytelling and folklore combine in this solo show from Curious Legends. Celebrating books, reading, and the times we spend alone, My Secret Home involves the audience in a unique and fun way. As the stories unfold, children become the characters, finding their way past ogres and elephants, jaguars, rabbits, and an old man called Wali-dad. Layer on layer, story by story, can the children help Snotnose find his secret home again? |
