This February, Curious Legends is bringing an inspiring story to Newcastle. Created in collaboration with the Hunter Indian Community and Chakras Dance, The Tiger, the Holy Man, and the Jackal is an ancient tale that will be brought to life through giant puppets, shadows, dancers, video projection, and a unique soundscape.

2 huge shadow screens and a giant illuminated tiger will feature next to some of Newcastle’s most talented Indian dancers. Come early, and you just might be invited to perform with us…

Food trucks, kids games, community dancing, stalls and more will combine to create a vibrant festival atmosphere – come along to experience the best of India in Newcastle, followed by an inspiring performance featuring this ancient tale from the Panchatantra!
