Coffin Lane

On October 28th, 2017, Curious Legends transformed Maitland’s Coffin Lane into a Halloween Underworld! Ghosts, lanterns, shadows and puppets combined with food trucks and spooky sounds to create a family friendly event for all ages. Part of Maitland City Council’s grants program, artists from Curious Legends received funding to work with kids from Metford and Maitland Primary schools. They were involved in making shadow puppets, shrieking spirit puppets, and the entire performance sound-scape. The evening culminated in a performance by professional artists from Curious Legends, and over 60 participants from the Maitland Community!
